Minority Welfare Scholarship Kerala: C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship

The girl students belonging to Muslim/ Latin Christian/Converted Christian communities can apply for the CH Muhammed Koya scholarship by the Kerala State Department of Minority Welfare.
The students studying for Degree/PG/ Professional courses in the Government/Aided institutions in Kerala can apply.
A student can apply for scholarship or hostel stipend (only one)

Scholarships Amount
Under Graduates: Rs. 5,000/Year (3000 nos)
Post Graduates: Rs. 6,000/Year (1000 nos)
Professional Courses: Rs. 7,000/Year (1000 nos)
Hostel Stipend: Rs. 13,000/Year (2000 nos)

Eligibility Conditions:
1. Should belong to Muslim, Latin, Converted Christian community and should be a native of Kerala.
2. Should be a GIRL student studying for Graduation or Higher courses in Govt./ Aided Institution.
3. Students who got admission to Self financing colleges from merit seat are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
4. Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
5. Family Annual income should not exceed 8 Lakhs.
6. Those who apply for Hostel stipend should be staying in recognized hostels.
7. THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HOSTEL STIPEND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOLARSHIP.

Visit http://www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in/ and click CH Mohammed Koya Scholarshio (CHMS)
Apply online and give necessary details.
The applicants need to submit the documents as per the notification.
The application for the academic session will be invited in September - November
