GMSAT -Great Minds Student’s Aptitude Test - 2018

In this 21st Century fast paced and ever changing global economy, every student needs a new set of skills – and a habit of lifelong learning – to flourish in this competitive environment. To help students, prepare them for tomorrow, GREAT MINDS COMPETENCY COUNCIL proud to announce the “GMSAT - Great Minds Student’s Aptitude Test”, a global competency program.

GMSAT Eligibility & Exam Pattern
GMSAT is a Global Competency program to test the student’s knowledge in English, Maths and General Knowledge.
Students of classes from U.K.G to IX are eligible to participate. The medium of test will be in English only.
GMSAT is based on common syllabus of CBSE, CISE and other State Boards.
There will be a separate question paper for each class. The question paper is divided into 4 parts. The first three parts consists of 45 Objective questions (no multiple choices to select the answers) and the last part is subjective consists of 2 questions.
English Grammar Skill - 15 Questions
Mathematical Ability - 15 Questions
General Knowledge - 15 Questions
English Writing Skill - 2 Questions
The test is evaluated for 50 marks. All objective questions carry 1 mark each and the subjective question carries 2½ marks each. 25% negative marks for the wrong answers in the objective questions
How to Participate

  • Prior registration is a must to participate in GMSAT
  • Through institution only the students can register in the GMSATprogram and there is no direct mode of student’s participation. On receipt of registration with fees, the Question Paper cum Answer sheet will be forwarded to the institution.
  • The Institution can organize the program on any convenient date and submit the answer sheets on or before the due date for evaluation.
  • The Sample Question paper, Student Nomination forms are available in under “Download” menu.

Schools in India: Rs. 125/- per student. 
Schools from Abroad: Rs.350/- per student.
The payment can be done through DD or Direct Credit mode. The demand draft is to be drawn in favor of “Great Minds Competency Council” payable at Chennai (or) directly make payment / transfer the test fees to Karnataka Bank Account Ltd.

1st Prize –Securing Highest Marks in each class among schools will be awarded with gifts worth of Rs. 1000/-
2nd Prize – Securing Second Highest Marks in each class among schools will be awarded with gifts worth of Rs. 750/-
3rd Prize – Securing Third Highest Marks in each class among schools will be awarded with gifts worth of Rs. 500/-
Consolation Prizes: Top Three rank holders in each class from the participating schools will be awarded with a Medals & Certificate. (Note : Eligibility Criteria - Minimum 10 registration from each class of the participating school & securing 85% and above in the exam is a must)
“Certificate of Participation” to all the participants.
“Award of Excellence” to the Institutions
“Certificate of Appreciation” to the Principal and the Program coordinators
(In case 3 & more students get same marks /rank, award amount will be distributed equally in the applicable category)
