DFC 10th Annual I CAN School Challenge


Design for Change and the FIDS Frameworkd, with its roots in Gandhian principles, was a simple idea started in 2009 by Krian Bir Cethi.

Submit your story and participate. It's absolutely free

ELIGIBILITY
The DFC I CAN School Challenge is open to all school students. The ideal age group is 8 -13 years.

How to?
Make super squads of 5 team members. The submission process involves the following four steps

STEP 1 FEEL
STEP 2 Imagine
STEP 3 Do
STEP 4 Share
Details available at the site along with videos and samples.
To complete the process, children must reflect on their experience and map the shift in their attitude
WRAPPING UP by talking, drawing, writing about it. The DFC team will be constantly available to nudge, advise and support. If you feel stuck or need some resource material, you only need to ask!

Prizes and Rewards
Prestigious opportunity  for top 4 winning teams to visit and witness "The Change of Guards Ceremony" at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi.

Parle-G INNOVATION TROPHY
A grant worth Rs. 50,000 for 4 winning category awards.
16 grants to extend the winning stories of change.
100 certificates and trophies for innovative solutions.

AWARD FOR THE ‘BRIGHTEST IDEA’
Grant of Rs 25,000 each for 2 schools to further scale their stories of change.
Top 20 winning stories of change will get published in a Navneet Special Edition Book: I CAN STORIES OF REAL SUPERHEROES and get distributed nationwide!

SOLVE NINJA AWARDS
Stories that solve local environmental & civic problems in the neighbourhood / locality. The categories for these awards are:
1. Campaign Chameleon: stories that use empathetic communication to mobilise people.
2. Techno Tiger Awards: stories that use technology to solve problems. Winners of these awards will get: a) 21st-century skills Certificate & online mentorship from experts; b) Showcase stories on Solve Ninja App
