Wildlife Photography Contest 2017 - Wildlife Week Kerala

Kerala Forest Department is conducting WildlifePhotographyContest for the citizens of India as part of Wildlife Week Celebrations -2017.
Terms and conditions for the Contest
• The contest is open to all professional and amateur photographers who have completed an age of sixteen years on 01.01.2017 and are the citizens of India
• There is no upper age limit forparticipation.
• There is no entry fee for participating in the contest.
• Images of wildlife photographed from the Forest areas of Kerala are only eligible for the contest.
• Staff of Kerala Forest Department and their close relatives (Spouse, Parent, Child, Sibling and respective spouses) are not eligible for participation.
• At the time of submitting the photograph, the contestant should attest that:
a) Entry is an original photograph
b) She/He created the image and owns full copy right to the photographs submitted.
c) Submissions are in compliance with the legal and copyright laws of India.
• Time limits for the Photography Contest will commence from 1st September 2017, 10.00 am and will ends by 22nd September 2017, 5.00 PM. The time displayed in the official website of Kerala Forest Department will be considered as the reference for the timings.
• Entries for the Photography Contest can only be submitted through online using the link "Wildlife Photography Contest-2017" in the official website of Kerala Forest Department, www.forest.kerala.gov.in and all other kind of entries including postal submission will be rejected.
• Entries are to be submitted digitally in JPEG format. All photos uploaded should be of 8 megabytes or less, with a minimum of 3000 pixels in the longer side.
• HDR images and stitched panoramas are not eligible.
• Photographs with borders, frames, watermarks or signatures will not be considered.
• An individual can submit a maximum of 5 (five) entries which have been taken with in last five years.
• Each image has to be captioned with a relevant title and description.
• Images taken throughwilful harassment of wildlife or causing damage to the wildlife habitat are ineligible.
• Images that have won awards in the previous wildlife photography contests conducted by Kerala Forest Department are ineligible

Last date for submission: 22 September 2017 5.00 pm
Maximum file size is 8MB with 3000 pixel width
A contestant can submit up to 5 photographs
