JUNIOR ROBOTICS COMPETITION 
is open only for schools.
Eligibility: Students of Class VI to XII. A team of 5 -15 participants would represent their school and compete with others..

SENIOR ROBOTICS COMPETITION
This challenge is open for all education institutions including colleges. A team of 5 -15 participants would represent their institute and compete with other institutes. Eligible participants should be doing engineering graduation or post graduation.

All participants will get certification of Participation from “All India Council for Robotics & Automation” and “Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India”.

IRL Challenge:

The objective is that the robot should follow a track marked with a line with lots of hurdles. The whole robot must start behind the starting mark and is considered to have crossed the finishing line if any part of the robot crosses it when the robot has completed a full lap of the course.

Design a robot either wired or wireless within the specified dimensions that can operated manually and can travel through all turns of the track. The robot that will complete the specified task in least time will be the winner.
In the shortest period of time the racer must complete the set number of laps from the starting position to the finish, without going outside the track.
The competition area has is a special place defined for the robot’s operation (hereafter COMPETITION FIELD).
The ROBOT which will start on the START point and reach the FINISH point block by various laps and hurdles in the shortest time will be nominated the winner.
Every team will have 2 trial runs. After the trials are over, the fastest time achieved during those trials will be chosen for the team. One trial should not last more than five minutes. After the trial time is over, the TIME-UP BUZZER will sound and the team will be asked to remove the robot from the COMPETITION FIELD. If the robot is on the field half way and operating during the TIME-UP BUZZER sound, the team will be given 2 more minutes so the robot operation is not interrupted.

Venue: Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi
Registration Fee:
      - For Indian college/school: INR 5000/- + ST per team (Maximum 15 participants)
      - For overseas college/school: USD 100 per team.
Eligibility:
      - Team should be representing any university, college, school or education entity.
      - Team size of minimum 5 and maximum 15 participants.
Timelines:
      -15th Feb – Last day for registration
      -15th March – Hospitality registration. Bookings can be confirmed based on “First come, first served” and and        subject to availability.
      -Grand Finale – 28th to 30th April 2017.
