The Microsoft Office Specialist India Championship presented by Certiport, Inc. is a national competition that tests students' skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (2010 and 2013). Top students are invited to represent their respective schools at the India Championship. The winners will even go on to compete at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in the United States*!

To participate, a student must pass one of the following exams by 17 April 2016**:
Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2010 Exam
Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2010 Exam
Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2010 Exam
Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2013 Exam
Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2013 Exam
Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2013 Exam
Top students will be selected and invited to compete in the 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist India Championship from 20-21 May in New Delhi.

A.There are three (3) rounds in the Championship: Qualification, the India Championship, and the World Championship.

Qualification Round: Competitors qualify to compete by entering a passing score earned on an eligible MOS exam into the Championship. Exams must be taken between the dates of 1 October 2015 – 17 April 2016 in order to qualify for the 2016 Championship.

India Championship: The top students from around India will be invited to compete in the India Championship event from 20 – 21 May in New Delhi, India. Certiport reserves the right to include additional criteria in shortlisting the candidates. During the India Championship event, the top student in each of the six (6) exam tracks will be named the Indian Champion for his or her category.

World Championship: The six (6) First Place Indian Champions, one per track, will receive an all–expenses–paid trip* to represent India and compete in Certiport's 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship from 7 – 10 August 2016 in Orlando, Florida, USA!

Eligibility
 students enrolled in an approved, accredited academic institution recognized by India. As of 15 June 2016, students must also be between the ages of 13 and 22 (less than 23 years of age).

First Place Champions will receive:
Invitation to compete in Certiport's 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (www.MOSchampionship.com) from 7 – 10 August 2016 in Orlando, Florida, USA
Expenses–paid travel for student competitor from New Delhi, India to Orlando, Florida, USA*
Prize valued at approximately INR 30,000

Prize valued at approximately INR 20,000

Third Place Winners will receive:
Prize valued at approximately INR 15,000

*Travel expenses will be paid by the student's sponsoring Certiport Authorized Partner. This prize is contingent on the student's ability to obtain a travel VISA. See Official Rules for more detail.
