Student Competitions recently launched a competition together with Autodesk, that challenges students’ imagination and allows them to express their creative design skills. The competition is called Snap, Style & Share.
Take a photo of something that you think demonstrates exceptional design. From spectacular architecture to breathtaking design in nature--show us what inspires you!
Use the high quality and wide variety of cool and creative tools in Autodesk’s Pixlr® Express photo editing app to style and enhance the original design image. The Pixlr® Express app is an easy-to-use online image editor for your phone and the web that is free* to download for Android and iOS. To participate in this competition, just let your imagination loose and make your entry stand out from the crowd.
  • Use at least three editing options, from the range provided by the Pixlr Express app.
  • Provide a “before” (no effects) and “after” (edited) version of your image.
  • Share your entry and gather votes to increase your chance of becoming a finalist.
Nine winners will receive a variety of prizes, including, but not limited to, having their winning entry showcased in the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco; an artistic review of their entry by Henry Lien (owner/director of Glass Garage Gallery, Los Angeles); and an Autodesk design competitions award plaque.

Who can enter?

Anyone aged 13 to 24 years old who is a resident of one of the countries where the contest is available.
Please read the Official Rules for additional information. If you are under the legal age of majority in your place of residence, you may only participate with your parent or guardian’s consent and supervision.
Deadline: 25 October 2013
